Health Information Hub – Concept document
- While leading healthy lifestyle, a regular check on health parameter will be of very helpful. The objective of this initiative is to facilitate it by providing a dashboard. This could be more personalized, when this is presented in Tamil.
- Approach is to collect data from wearable devices like iWatch , iPhone . The data collected from apple cloud which will be accessible via API will be used in this.
- A dashboard will be presented based on the data with focus on selected health parameters.
- The presentation will be made available across multiple platform like iPhone, iPad and iWatch.
- The dashboard will also be presented in Tamil. This will help on audience who prefer to see in local language.
The approach is to build an application that will access health data provided by Apple Cloud via their API. This data collation will also include the information available on wearables. These information will be stored in a cloud-based systems. Based on this data store, an interactive user interface will be presenting on iPhone , iPad and iWatch. There will be a provision to set a preferred health parameters to appear with high importance. Based on context setting and viewer software will present it in Tamil. This will have four major parts.
- Apple health kit along with data collected from apple devices. The personalized data collected from various sources will be available on Apple cloud. These will be accessed via API with applicable security and data confidentiality controls.
- Mobile and wearable platform will be used to collect health data. The medical kit provided by Apple will be the core of the solution.
- Cloud infrastructure will be used for data stores and communication / API connectivity components and other web servers. Monitoring and triggers will be part of this cloud infrastructure.
- Software components group consists of user interface designs for presenting dash boards, SDKs and APIs that are built around Apple medical kit. A set of definable health parameters will be facilitated to setup and monitor.
